Business Development Manager – Cyber Security
£70-90k basic x2 OTE + Benefits
Location: Home-based (North-East visits when needed)
A growing tech business is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead cyber security sales into the SME market. You’ll focus on winning new clients, building a strong pipeline, and delivering consultative, value-led sales.
What You’ll Do
- Generate and close new cyber security opportunities
- Hit monthly/quarterly targets
- Build and manage a quality pipeline
- Present solutions clearly and confidently
- Negotiate commercials and manage accurate forecasting
- Research target sectors and stay up to date on products
- Support smooth handovers to account management
What You’ll Need
- Proven success in tech or managed services sales
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience selling to senior leaders/owners
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
- SME market experience a bonus
