Front End Software Developer, up to £75k + excellent benefits (Home Based with 1 day per month in office)

Are you a Front End Developer with an insurance background wanting to escape the corporate side of things and work directly with decision-makers in the business who will listen to and value your opinions. Perhaps you would love working for an established start up. You will be joining a focused team delivering market leading insurance platform technology.

This is the chance to work with an insurance technology focused agile group who are using Technology & AI to great effect within the insurance market. You can become an integral part of the business as it continues to grow and in turn, grow your own career within it, learning off some highly credible technology professionals.

This role is all about developing and enhancing application components and functionalities for an insurance technology platform. You’ll be writing quality code and helping maintain development standards, while also contributing to decisions about application architecture.

Tech Stack / Experience required:
Front-end developer at a mid to senior level with experience in Angular, familiar with its latest features like components, services, and routing. You should have strong skills in Angular Material for modern UIs, along with expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript for clean code. Proficiency in RxJS for asynchronous operations, state management tools for complex states, and solid HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS knowledge is essential. Experience with Tailwind CSS, RESTful API integration, and Git for version control is also required. You should be capable of working independently and solving problems proactively.

Desirable:
Familiarity with NestJS is a plus, as is experience with Java, Camel, or Spring Boot applications. A basic understanding of backend frameworks can aid collaboration, especially in Agile environments. Strong communication skills are essential for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a keen eye for design will help create functional, visually appealing user interfaces.
