Workplace Regional Manager, Amsterdam, 6 month initial contract (Contractor/ Freelancer / Interim), Market Rates (€450 - €600 per day)
A contractor required for a global technology company, to perform the duties of a Real Estate & Workplace Facilities Manager to lead operations in the North EMEA region, working from Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity to develop strategies and implement solutions that support rapid growth across the EMEA region. You will manage key 3rd party relationships, oversee day-to-day operations, and work with teams across EMEA and APAC.
As part of the EMEA North team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success if the expanding facilities, workplace, and real estate operations. Travel to other EMEA office locations is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class service for employees, customers, and investors.
- Lead support team for internal events, training sessions, and company happy hours.
- Manage front-of-house activities, including security and food & beverage programs.
- Create a workplace that embodies and enhances company culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance) and external vendors to provide top-tier solutions.
- Ensure day-to-day facilities requests are handled efficiently and in line with standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (team leaders, EAs) and external service providers.
- Contribute to special projects as part of the global Real Estate & Workplace team.
- Oversee regular office maintenance programs (janitorial, safety equipment, etc.).
- Optimize operational processes related to budget, security, and safety programs.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of facilities management experience, with a focus on operations and service delivery.
- Proven ability to build schedules and coverage models while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, including drafting clear office communications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Customer-focused mindset, ensuring high-quality resolutions.
- Financial and budget management experience, including sourcing and procurement.
- Experience managing projects in a distributed, remote environment.
- This is a contract position so you will need be a company or self-employed as either BV or ZZP. If you are not currently self-employed, we can assist in getting ZZP.
