Enterprise Architect
Outside IR35 | Hampshire | Onsite
Talent Locker are working with a leading Defence and National Security consultancy recruiting an experienced Enterprise Architect to join an established architecture team, on an initial 3 month contract.
PLEASE NOTE – this role requires onsite delivery, and candidates must hold UK SC Clearance prior to appointment.
As the Enterprise Architect, you will work closely with senior programme leadership to develop and maintain the customer’s business and digital architecture. You will translate complex operational and technical requirements into clear, actionable architectural artefacts, supporting decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and Defence programmes in secure environments.
You will coordinate multi stakeholder analysis whilst producing high quality visualisations and reports for senior stakeholders and support project outputs such as high-level designs and final programme reports. You will also review operational performance and propose improvements, ensuring architectures are practical, future proof and aligned with objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
- Produce enterprise and solution architecture artefacts to support decision making and project delivery
- Hands on experience producing architectures using framework such as MODAF, NAF, TOGAF or similar
- Proficiency with ArchiMate, UML,BPMN and enterprise architecture tools including Archi, BiZZDesign, Sparx EA etc
- Strong experience developing enterprise conceptual and solution architectures for defence or government programmes
- Ability to translate complex technical and operational concepts into visual artefacts for senior stakeholders
- Strong MS Office skills particularly Visio for producing reports
- Knowledge of military systems, C2, ISR or logistics architectures
- Familiarity with Secure by Design principles, DevOps practices or modern digital service delivery
- Experience in data science, AI/ML, autonomy, or simulation projects
