Lead Analytics Consultant
Permanent – Remote (UK) with occasional travel to London
£75,000 – £105,000 + bonus + benefits

Are you an experienced Lead Analytics Consultant with a strong background in data engineering, business intelligence and cloud-based analytics solutions?
This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions for major UK organisations. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with client advisory and project leadership, supporting the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-based analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert advisory support to clients on advanced analytics and data engineering best practices

Lead analytics engagements from requirements gathering through to solution design and implementation

Design and deliver cloud-based data engineering and business intelligence solutions

Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar tools

Lead data modelling, transformation, and ETL/ELT pipeline development

Design scalable data architectures and analytics platforms

Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned to business objectives

Support and guide team members while ensuring successful project delivery
Skills and Experience

Demonstrable experience designing and delivering cloud-based data engineering and analytics solutions

Extensive experience in a client-facing consulting role, ideally within a consultancy or systems integrator

Proven track record of leading teams or delivering analytics projects

Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL

Experience with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory

Familiarity with modern data platforms including Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks

Expertise in data visualisation and analytics tools such as Power BI, QlikView or Tableau

Strong experience in data modelling, transformation, ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing

Awareness or experience with Big Data, Data Science, AI or Machine Learning technologies

Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
